Zachary and Alexia were married at Nestldown amongst the towering redwoods of the serene Santa Cruz Mountains. Their wedding was equal parts whimsical and intimate with a Game of Thrones theme. It’s not too often that you see a wedding that nails a theme like this couple did. They incorporated so many fun details into their decor that were clever nods to GOT. Some of our favorite details were Alexia’s stunning cape, and the hidden dragon eggs in the centerpieces.

Their day was filled with many personalized elements that created a wonderful atmosphere. The last notable part of their wedding we wanted to mention was the Handfasting tradition they incorporated into their ceremony. Handfasting is an old Celtic tradition of literally tying the knot. It was a wonderful depiction of this couple intertwining their lives together through their marriage.
